However, SSL provides no protection to the data once it has arrived at the webserver. Codesafe SSL was designed to handle the data being transferred in a secure environment where it could be treated with the security properties it needs. CodeSafe SSL provides a full SSL implementation where the end point of the SSL channel is inside the nCipher hardware module. Secure code can be included in the module via CodeSafe and then the information can be processed or encrypted inline, all within the secure hardware boundary. |
